From Reddit saved post — r/boomershooters, u/Jimlad116, Aug 28 2024 https://www.reddit.com/r/boomershooters/comments/1f3it6l/shooters_that_felt_like_they_were_made_for_the/ I just finished Legacy of Rust on UV off the Doom I + II collection and it felt great on the Steam Deck and made me want more. None of the other shooters I own at the moment feel as good and it's leaving me wanting. Hedon has way too many buttons and I just can't get the control scheme set up in a way that feels comfortable. Supplice has some weird framerate hitches I can't figure out. Wrath and Overkill just feel like you're gimping yourself if you're not using a mouse. You need to be way more precise than I can get on a gamepad or trackpad. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm open to deep indie cuts as long as they play well.
