Claude Code's source code just leaked — so I had Claude Code analyze its own internals and build an open-source multi-agent framework from it

Open-Multi-Agent (OMA) is a TypeScript framework for orchestrating AI agents through dynamic workflows, where a coordinator converts a high-level goal into a task DAG executed on any large language model like ChatGPT or Claude. It supports runtime task planning, controlled execution with approval and retries, observability, and privacy controls, enabling reliable multi-agent collaboration within Node.js environments. The framework allows mixing cloud and local models, runs offline or air-gapped, and offers tools for inspection, replay, and evaluation of runs. OMA is production-ready, extensible, and adopted by various projects for tasks including security analysis, code review, and document transformation.
