Murat announces the stable release of GoatRemote, a smart TV solution with added cloud model support for older Macs, including base M1 models that previously struggled with local models. The system uses @GroqInc's fast inference technology for Whisper and the Kimi K2 LLM, improving performance and reducing costs. Kimi K2 was chosen for its KV caching and efficient operation, resulting in minimal monthly cloud usage costs. This update aims to enhance user experience while maintaining affordability and speed.
