Tinnitus disappeared or significantly reduced: Integrative Treatment for Tinnitus Combining Repeated Facial and Auriculotemporal Nerve Blocks With Stimulation of Auditory and Non-auditory Nerves.

The study evaluated an integrative treatment combining repeated nerve blocks and stimulation of auditory and non-auditory nerves for subacute and chronic tinnitus. In a retrospective review of 55 patients, over 87.5% experienced significant tinnitus reduction or disappearance, with benefits lasting up to one year post-treatment. This approach targets multiple mechanisms of tinnitus through trigeminal, facial, and vestibulocochlear nerve pathways and showed superior efficacy compared to conventional therapies. The results suggest this integrative method is a promising new therapy for tinnitus management.
