This adapter cable makes it possible to use SNES compatible controllers on a Wii or Gamecube. Ideal for Wii virtual console SNES and NES games, the Game Boy Player or other emulators.
Features:
- Supports official and 3rd party SNES controllers.
- Works on Gamecube, Wii1 and most GC-to-USB adapters.
- Compatible with the Game Boy Player and many emulators.
- Compatible with the Switch (combined with a Nintendo Gamecube adapter for Wii U). Firmware v2.2 or newer required.
- Compatible with American, European and Japanese controllers.
- 5 Button mappings available (SNES mapping, NES mapping, GC-Player mappings and more)
- Low latency: 4ms max (ΒΌ of a frame)
- Firmware v2.2 (latest version). Updateable[2].
- The 6ft (1.82m) approx. cable also serves as an extension!

1 This adapter only works on Wii with Gamecube ports! If you have a Wii U or a Wii without gamecube ports, please consider our SNES to Wiimote adapter.
2 Firmware update is performed by chaining the adapter with a raphnet GC to USB V3 adapter
(or any variation such as dual Gamecube or Gamecube + N64) and using the adapter manager, or using our
GC/Wii adapter updater Wii homebrew tool. Older versions of the adapter running firmware 1.x cannot be updated.
