Large LCD guidance device that supports 4 languages

Installed onboard are large LCD guidance devices that provide information including information about destinations, service statuses, news, weather reports, and flight information (inbound trains) in four languages (English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese).

Use of universal design

Many accessibility-related measures have been implemented including a large Western-style toilet for users of electric wheelchairs, low-hanging luggage racks, and minimized gaps between platforms and trains.

Improved security

Security cameras are installed near the doorways and in the luggage compartment areas. The luggage compartment areas of each train is fitted with a dial-type lock. Additionally, we are installing emergency alert devices in the trains that allow for communication with crew members to improve security.

Improved comfort

The seats which are fitted with movable pillows also function as comfortable rotating reclining seats. All seats are equipped with a large table and power outlets that can be used with PCs. Luggage space can also be found near the leg room. Additionally, the trains are incredibly quiet due to the use of rubber floors for Ordinary Cars and a carpet finish for Green Cars.
