I ordered a steel prototype for a pencile I wanted to produce in slightly larger quantity from titanium, the wall thicknes of my design was to small, but costumer service offered me to print it anyway but on my own risk, so I did... I dont know what the engineers have done, but it workted out perfect, no crack, no warp, no slight imperfection. Only slight layer lines and the measurements were slightly over the CAD specifications, but thats a SLM 3D-printing thing in general and not on them. If you want tight tolerances (<0.5mm) you need to machine it to specification after delivery, same as if you would order cast parts.
