So im looking into upgrading my hdd in my xbox to a sata 1 tb. I already have a 160 gb ide drive but its extremely old and i want a larger drive plus the peace of mind that it shouldnt fail anytime soon. I have the correct drive, 80 wire ide cable and sata to ide converter picked out but my question is: what sata to usb adaptors are supported in building the new drive and locking it? I read that not all work but nobody stated which ones do (if they did i couldnt find it on any forums). I dont want to use chimp because i dont want to perform a hotswap (even if it is easy) and i need a sata to usb adaptor anyways. Sorry for the long post...
