My name is Glenn and I recently relocated from NYC, USA to São Paulo,
Brazil. I apologize up front to this community, but my Portuguese is
not very good (yet) so I have to post in English.

It is great to find an active community of iPhone developers here in
Brazil.

I am the founder of an iPhone Development Consulting company called
Cliq Consulting. Cliq Consulting (http://www.cliqconsulting.com/) has
published 9 apps in the App Store for our clients with many more on
the way.

Business has been so good that I have been forced to turn away
projects because I don't have enough time to do them myself.

I am looking for smart, talented programmers to join my team.

As a member of the Cliq Consulting development team, you will be given
various iPhone projects to design and develop. So far, most of our
clients are USA based.

If you, or someone you know is interested in getting paid to develop
iPhone applications, please contact me.

Required:
- 3+ years of C, C++, C# or Java
- English (verbal and written)
- Ability to learn new technologies

Nice to have:
- Owns an intel based Mac
- Familiar with objective-C and Cocoa development with XCode
- talking to REST or other web based services with XML or JSON

Pessoal, uma duvida que voltei a ter. Tive um problema num App que fiz em que setando um UILabel no codigo, este nāo era atualizado na tela do App.

Tenho uma interface .xib que possui

File's Owner -> UIApplication
Tab Bar Controller -> UITabBarController
ViewControllerAB -> FirstViewController

No codigo, desejo alterar um campo UILabel que esta no ViewControllerAB, linkey tudo e setei tudo.
Mas quando altero o UILabel,

[campoXX setText:@"6"];

ao iniciar o App este aparece com o valor default setado no IB.

A variavel esta declarada na classe FirstViewController, em viewDidLoad.

Aonde estaria o erro? Essas variaveis, metodos, precisam estar no File's Owner? Ou nāo está atualizando pq precisa dar um refresh na interface?

Acho que estou confundindo coisas de classe e file owner e quando separar ele ou nao.

Obrigado a quem souber esclarecer.

Don't worry about your Portuguese, most people at the list speak English.

Why don't you sign up for the upcoming iPhone event the 7th of November (this Saturday) ?

It's free and will have several technical presentations.

You would also be able to meet many iPhone programmers, the last event had around 70 attendants.

We are expecting in the ballpark of 90 this Saturday.
