If you're tired of the long commute, AutNo is an apartment hunting service that will help you find a place to live near transit or major roads, and even estimates how long your commute would be from the apartment you're looking at.
AutNo is pretty easy to use. Just type in the zip code or city name near your ideal neighborhood, and then type in where you commute every day. You'll get a top-down Google Map with available rental listings grouped together and color coded based on whether they're close to bus stops, train lines, or subway stations. Drag the map around to explore options close to your office, or click on any group to zoom in, see specific listings (and their details, like rental price, number of bedrooms, and photos), and an estimate of how long your commute would take if you chose to live there.
You can narrow your search by how much you're willing to spend on an apartment and how many rooms you'd like, view listings directly to read more, and save favorites to come back to later. Plus, while the service is aimed to help you get out of the car-commuting rat race, you can select "driving" as an option and find apartments that'll make your drive to the office a little easier too.
