A cross-platform software which allows you to use your computer keyboard as a MIDI instrument
Virtual MIDI Keyboard displays a musical keyboard on the screen. You can use your computer keyboard to trigger notes just as you would play a normal MIDI keyboard. You can also use your mouse to do the same.
The idea for a virtual MIDI keyboard was born out of the necessity for such a software on the Linux and Mac platforms.
In the long term, Virtual MIDI Keyboard aims to become the best software MIDI controller for the Linux and Mac platforms while also providing builds for Windows users.
Virtual MIDI Keyboard is based on Raw Material Software's 'JUCE' framework.
