Update: Working on a post processing script that adds an automatic dwell/pause and resume routine whenever the layer time is pretty low to allow the layer to cool before it prints the next layer. This should help with print tall thin models, will share after testing.
My settings for printing clear PETG, feel free to play around with nozzle temp, print speed and layer time to modify it to suit your models.
(Remixed from the tutorial on printables and filament settings from the Bambu wiki.)
Filament must be dry otherwise you'll face issues with stringing and moisture bubbles in your prints.
Nozzle temp and layer time are the 2 settings I've seen affect the translucence the most. 300*C nozzle temp is also fine but I've not tried it for larger, complex objects
To get more translucent prints you need to put more heat into a layer and allow it to fuse into the previous layer but it also results in deformation of the model as you can see on the Benchy smoke stack. Overhangs and Bridges also suffer massively in quality as there is no cooling throughout the print.
