This design I felt was something that felt natural to make when I saw the levitation kit. Orrery must be manually and carefully placed on electromagnet and cannot use base lift mechanism unfortunately. Base can be rotated to help raise and lower lift mechanism for removing the orrery from the station or for when unpowered.
Orreries are used to show the relative positions and motions of planets. Mine is not particularly accurate due to limitations of it having to be compact, lightweight and balanced for levitation but I hope you enjoy it for what it is regardless!

- Capacitive Touch Switch (Uses 1 Capactive Switch)
- Toggle Switch - SS12F15VG6 (Uses 1 switch (This was the kit I had on hand))

- AAA Batteries (Uses 2 AAA Batteries)
- 6x2mm rubber feet (Uses 6 Pcs)
- Kit EA003 - 5mm OD x 2mm ID x 2.5mm thick bearings (Uses 5 Pcs)
- Kit AA017 - Screw M2x14 (Uses 3 Pcs)
- Kit AA011 - Screw M2x8 (Uses 12 Pcs)
- Kit AA019 - Screw M2x8 self tapping (Uses 16Pcs)
- Kit FA002 - 3mm Ball Bearings (Uses 10Pcs)

1. Floating Orrery (Build Plates #1-6)
- Can be printed as stand alone model in which case the levitation kit is not needed.
- Thin tweezers or needle is recommended for helping align ball bearings
- Settings:
- Printed with 0.4mm Nozzle (I recommend 0.2mm for improved detail and functionality (The gear teeth are pretty small))
- Layer Height 0.08mm
- Supports needed for Sun (plate #6)
- Wiring Diagram:
- Red (+3V)
- Black (Ground)
- Yellow and White (Motor output - polarities can be swapped to reverse motor direction)

2. Electromagnetic Base (Built Plates #7-10)
- I recommend printing these parts in PETG due to possible deformation from heat generated by the electronics in the base warping PLA.
- Settings:
- Printed with 0.4mm Nozzle
- Layer Height 0.2mm
- Supports optional for the Basket base (Plate #8) but helps improve under surface quality overhangs.
