For most of history, models of the solar system were complex machines with countless gears. This one takes a different approach. The Meridian Orrery is a fully 3D printed solar system, or planetarium, driven by a single motor. Once per day, it resets itself and moves each planet into position using a carefully calculated sequence. It even includes a working Moon. A simple mechanism, with a surprisingly accurate result.
